Payment Terms
Monthly Automatic Payment Plan vs. Per Visit Invoicing
The sample calculations below are typical examples of types of services and potential costs (relative to the size & characteristics of the water feature being serviced)
Example 1:
An Ornamental Pond (Koi Pond, Garden Pond, etc.) Customer requests a Maintenance Contract for the following services and products:
SPRING OPENING SERVICE in March ($500), an INITIAL DOSE of Clarifier ($8.75), and Summer Fish Food ($52.00)

FALL WINTERIZATION SERVICE ($500.00) in October, a WINTER DOSE of Clarifier ($8.75), and Installation of existing on-site netting ($75.00)
The Costs for the Spring Opening Service come to $560.75.
The Costs for the Fall Winterization Service come to $583.75.
This customer would not qualify for the 10% discount or the Monthly Automatic Payment Plan because they did not enroll in Routine Monthly Maintenance Services. Therefore, when PondWorks performs the requested Services in March, the Customer will receive an invoice for $560.75 and $583.75 in October, after we perform the services.
Example 2:
An Ornamental Pond (Koi Pond, Garden Pond, etc.) Customer requests a Maintenance Contract for the following services and products on March 30 of the current Maintenance Season:
SPRING OPENING SERVICE in April ($500), an INITIAL DOSE of Clarifier ($8.75), and Summer Fish Food($52.00)

MONTHLY ROUTINE MAINTENANCE SERVICES once a month ($100.00 / Month) for a feature that Stays Open Year Round (10 visits in addition to the Spring and Fall visits)

FALL WINTERIZATION SERVICE ($500.00) in October, a WINTER DOSE of Clarifier ($8.75), and Installation of existing on-site netting ($75.00)
Spring Opening Service Costs: $560.75.
Monthly Maintenance Visits Costs: $1000.00
Fall Winterization Service Costs: $583.75
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES TOTAL = $2,144.50
This customer does qualify for the 10% discount and the Monthly Automatic Payment Plan because they did enroll in Routine Monthly Maintenance Services, as well as the Spring & Fall Services PRIOR to the May 15 cutoff date for the current Maintenance Season.
TOTAL COSTS = $2,144.50
- 10% DISCOUNT = 214.45
DISCOUNTED TOTAL = $1,930.05
$1,930.05 / 10 = $193.01 Per Month
This Customer would save $214.45 (10% off of $2,144.50) by enrolling in the Monthly Automatic Payment Plan which would result in an automatic monthly draw on their Credit Card or Bank Account of $193.01 on the 15th of each month for the remaining 10 months of the current Maintenance Season.
